Essay and City Narrative Submittals
Essay Topic
"Providing a reliable and effective health care product that effectively improves the quality of life and comfort for a patient who is either a senior citizen or has a specific disease, or is suffering from an illness, injury or physical disability."
Due Date The due date for the Essay, Essay Form, City Narrative and City Narrative Form is "at the end of business day" MONDAY, JANUARY 10, 2011. The essay documents must be in our hands by the end of business day, absolute last day to receive them, no late submittals will be accepted.
Forms The Essay Form (pg 59 in the Handbook) needs to be filled out, signed and attached to the essay. The City Narrative Form (pg 60 in the Handbook) needs to be filled out, signed and attached to the narrative. Teams will need to place the word count at the end of the Essay and Narrative they submit. This is easy if you use Microsoft Word to count the words (tools/word count).
Penalties
-2 points if the essay form and/or narrative form is incomplete or missing
E-Mail
The preferred method of submitting your essay and narrative is by e-mail. If you e-mail your essay and narrative, it must be in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format. If you e-mail your submittals, either include PDF files of your signed Essay Form and Narrative Form or follow up by mailing your signed Essay Form and Narrative Form in the US mail. There will not be a late penalty if the e-mail with the Essay and Narrative is received by Monday, January 10, 2011.
